Last month found us spending more time than usual on LinkedIn. Our client Procurious, a global network for procurement and supply chain professionals, hosted their first LinkedIn Live event; we were there to manage the livestream and make sure it ran smoothly from start to finish!
Procurious wanted to generate interest and excitement for their upcoming event, IMPACT! – a full-day summit on how to bring sustainability into procurement – by running a live event on their LinkedIn page, giving delegates the inside scoop so they would know what to expect at the event.
Our job was to film and manage the livestream, ensuring a first-class production and enjoyable viewing experience for their audience.
Taking it live
The LinkedIn Live was a brief, casual conversation between our client and a keynote speaker. We were there earlier in the day to set up lighting and audio, making sure everything was just right before we took it live, and to also give everyone the chance to get comfortable with the set-up.
As part of our service, we created overlay graphics on the livestream; these included captions and a running ticker tape on the bottom of the screen, with a call to action to book into the upcoming summit.
The LinkedIn Live was a great success – the production quality was top-notch and the speakers engaging and natural in front of the camera. Although it was Procurious’ first LinkedIn Live event, I’m sure it won’t be their last!
Our client had some happy words to sum up:
Wow! What a way to finish a busy week with our very first LinkedIn Live Training today, where we uncovered what delegates can expect at the IMPACT! Big Ideas Summit in Melbourne.
Great to be joined by … Jesse Spezza who is our most amazing video production partner.
