Case Study: ISPT Staff Photoshoot

ISPT are a leading property-investment super fund based in Melbourne's CBD. We were engaged to photograph their executive staff, with the photoshoot located on the lounge lobby of 8 Exhibition Street.

The brief

ISPT wanted a suite of informal portraits of their team members – nothing stiff or formal, but rather images that captured the warmth, passion and authenticity of each individual. They hired out a private lounge in their CBD building, prepared their team, and we took care of everything else.

Studio-quality photography, on location

We allowed an hour for set up before the half-day shoot, bringing portable studio flash units (with light modifiers that include soft boxes, umbrellas and reflectors), to ensure professional, studio-quality photography.

With approximately ten executives to photograph, we made full use of the beautiful room, capturing each team member in different areas and with different backgrounds, which gave an individuality to each set of photographs. Our photographer engaged with the executives so they felt relaxed, and we photographed them both looking towards and away from the camera.

The results

Our equipment was tethered to a laptop for instant review, so we could quickly review and select final photos with the executives.

Once we finalised photography on the day, our advanced editing included skin tone correction, skin smoothing, fixing pesky hair fly-aways and removing detail spots and marks from clothing and background. Within three to four days, we had a gallery of final, high-resolution files ready to deliver to the client. It was truly a pleasure to work with the team from ISPT.
